The team needs to acquire a FULCRUM agent list by solving several riddles left behind by Guy Lafleur. This causes problems when Chuck tries to rekindle his romance with Jill. When Jill is endangered, Chuck is forced to make some difficult decisions, and the team is not prepared for what comes next. Meanwhile, Emmett tries to find out why Chuck is absent so often and goes after his colleagues to get the information.

While Chuck is talking to Morgan at the Buy More, the Looney Tunes short “What’s Opera, Doc?” is playing on all of the TV screens in the background. It stars Bugs Bunny & Elmer Fudd in a parody of opera (especially the works of Wagner) and is one of the most known shorts. This is especially fitting as part of the episode is related to opera.
In the opera house, when Chuck and Jill solve the puzzle, the clock stops at 0007. This is a tribute of sorts to James Bond in Goldfinger, when a bomb gets shut off at 007.
