Trivia
In the closing scene where Casey begins Chuck’s training, they are sparring in a boxing ring. The sequence of sparring, the bell and final freeze frame scene is a duplicate of the final scene of the movie Rocky 3 with Rocky and Apollo Creed sparring.
Casey’s line of “You have much to learn, Grasshopper” is a reference to the 1970s American television show Kung Fu, in which David Carradine, a Shaolin monk wandered around the American West with a walking stick and a bamboo flute having flashbacks about his early training.
The scene where Chuck is putting on a robe and stepping into his sandals multiple times to “Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Is In)” is a reference to a drug induced trip encountered by “The Dude” in the movie The Big Lebowski.
Quotes
Sarah: We could run. Together – you and me; we go now and we never look back.
Chuck: Are you serious?
Sarah: I have some money saved up. I’d have to get us some new identities, create an escape route. For now, go to the training facility in Prague and meet me at the Nadrazi train station in three weeks time at seven o’clock, and then I can figure the rest out later.
Chuck: What are you saying?
Sarah: I’m saying I want to be a real person again. With you. This is what you want, right? I mean, this is it, Chuck: will you run away with me?
Chuck: Yeah.
Chuck: If I help you guys then maybe Beckman puts the old team back together.
Casey: And all my dreams come true.
Chuck: Maybe we should be introduced, I’m Chuck Cartowski: total loser, cheeseball addict.
Morgan: (to Chuck) I’ve known your whole life. You’re slightly unmotivated, a bit of an underachiever, but loser? Not your turf.
